Kendra (she/her) is a tattoo artist at Kingfisher. She has been tattooing since 2014 and has been at Kingfisher since the shop opened. Her specialties include illustrative, neo-traditional, portrait/pet portrait, and coverup tattoos. Kendra is a mom of two young kiddos, loves dogs, and finds joy in making art.
Jen (she/her) is a piercer and tattoo artist at Kingfisher. She has been piercing since 2008, tattooing since 2013, and has been at Kingfisher since the shop opened. Jen’s specialties include traditional/neo-traditional, fine line, floral, and animal tattoos. In her free time, Jen enjoys going to music festivals (punk and/or ska, preferably), gaming, and reading.
Kate (they/them) is a tattoo artist at Kingfisher. They have been tattooing since 2020 and have been at Kingfisher since 2024. Their tattoo specialties include medieval woodcut and etching as well as stylized blackwork. Kate’s artistic interests find communion in fine and sequential art under the notion that there's something hilarious about something that's not funny at all. Kate is also a published author with one of their comics even being optioned for film.
Sammy (she/her) is a piercer and tattoo apprentice at Kingfisher. She began apprenticing at Kingfisher in 2022, has been piercing since 2023, and hopes to begin offering tattoos to clients soon. Sammy strives to help turn clients’ meaningful experiences into well designed, wearable art. She also loves cooking, animals, and all things outdoors.
Chris (he/him) is a tattoo artist and the owner of Kingfisher. He has been tattooing since 2014 (professionally since 2016) and founded Kingfisher in 2019. Chris’s signature style is generally illustrative with intentional outlines, though he emphasizes his empathetic approach to translating ideas to designs, making his style “made to order.” When not at the shop, Chris enjoys fishing at sunrise (his “Zen time”), playing pool, and singing/playing guitar for his “punk rock n’ roll outfit” Big Green Limousine, which has been around since 1994.
Emily (she/her) is a tattoo artist at Kingfisher. She has been tattooing since 2023 and joined the team at Kingfisher in September 2025. Emily specializes in neotraditional animals, color, and fine line, but welcomes any style requested by clients. Emily hopes to create a safe space for women and LGBTQ+ clients during an otherwise intimidating process. She also loves camping, cooking, and her old ungrateful cat.
